WEEK 6
FATALITY
In week six we continued with the Cut Out Animation tutorial.
I took what I had learnt from the tutorial and extended it into a short simple but finished animation to bring the little tortoise to his inevitable demise.
This is still a pretty basic animation, I will try using some of the other techniques discussed in the tutorial later, such as joints and paths/pegs.
Exaggeration and anticipation are very important in animation, to prepare the viewer for what is about to happen, for example in this animation when my turlte is about to jump for the second time he slowly bends down in preparation right at the edge of the cliff so the viewer will pay more attention because they know something exciting is about to happen.
